Straight From The Model’s Mouth: Cast of Breaking Frontiers

To celebrate “Fun & Games,” the 3rd Part of the Next Door Films feature “Breaking Frontiers,” we had a chat with the stars to get the lowdown on what it was like being a part of this huge production. Here’s what they had to say!

What was the vibe on the set?  How was it to work with your co-stars and the crew?

CARTER WOODS – The vibe was great on set. Such a range of talent from crew to cast. Always a treat working in such a positive and relaxed environment.

CODY SEIYA – The vibe on set was immaculate! Everyone on set was so dialed in with their performances and roles, both on and off camera. I really appreciate how well curated the team was; the crew was efficient while also keeping the mood light and fun. And I developed a crush on all of the models by the end of the shoot, haha.

NICO COOPA – Phenomenal energy on set. Everyone was in such a great mood; it’s great when we can all stay together on location (who doesn’t want to bunk with a houseful of beautiful men?). Between the beautiful location and perfect summer weather it was like a long vacation with friends. I’ve worked with most of the guys before and we all get along famously.

JC HUNT – It was such a great vibe. Everyone was so chill and the chemistry was at 120%. Most of the b-roll was us just actually having fun and goofing off. Couldn’t get enough of the guys.

ANDREW MILLER – It was a really hot vibe from the start, you can tell everyone was really into each other and that the sex was going to be hot.

Tell us about your sex scenes from Breaking Frontiers!  Who were your partners?  Who was it to work with each of them?

CODY – Each sex scene had its own specific feeling that was elicited while filming. My scene with Carter Woods felt so intimate. His acting ability and kindness as a sex partner really made me comfortable. As for the threesome scene with JC Hunt and Andrew Miller, we were having some trouble maintaining our flow while shooting. However, we all worked together to support each other and our needs during the shoot (which led to a really hot scene). Shooting with all of them was a delight and I hope we can all shoot together again soon.  Nico Coopa is such a sweetheart! We had a ton of meaningful conversations and interactions. My favorite being him making me a delicious breakfast sandwich one night after shooting. I was starving and tired and he offered to cook for me! It was a meaningful gesture and I can’t thank him enough for showing me such kindness.

CARTER – I had the pleasure of shooting with Nico Coopa and Cody Seiya. Nico is incredible as always. We have a great connection already which translates with no explanation needed in our scenes. Cody and I had our first scene together and he definitely lived up to the hype. Great person and scene partner for sure, looking forward to working together again soon.

NICO – I’ll tell ya I think I unlocked a new kink with the cowboy thing. Something about the cowboy hat and boots were making me feral during shooting. JC Hunt and I can never keep our hands off of each other when we get together and this shoot was no exception. By the time the crew was ready for our sex scene we had already been going at it for a while in the other room so it was a very, very smooth transition. The second half of my week was spent with my forever crush Carter Woods. We were both expecting that one to be a hot scene and it absolutely was.

Hot, sweaty, outdoors; some of my all-time favorite qualities.

JC – Nico and I were the two models in Part 2. Nico and I have worked together before and I was so pumped when I found out we got cast together again. Nico’s everything is amazing. His dick is incredible and his hole makes me want to be inside him all day. We knocked that scene out so fast because the chemistry was running high and we were on top of each other even when the camera wasn’t recording. We might’ve fucked another two times off camera that day. 🙂 I also had a scene with Andrew and Cody. What a hot threesum. Cody and I have been following each other for years but never actually met in person until this shoot. I could tell how bad he wanted my dick and I was pumped to fuck him until he came hard. Andrew was hot as hell too. I have him such a good pounding and he had one of the biggest cum shots I’ve ever seen. It was WILD and so hot.

ANDREW – I got to shoot with Cody Seiya and JC Hunt and it was a blast! I think the energy between all of us was definitely there and it has to be especially with threesomes, the sex was super hot I think you guys will really enjoy this scene

How did you feel about getting to play a “country” character in this film?  What was the biggest challenge?  What was the most fun?

NICO – I’m originally from South Alabama so I’m pretty accustomed to the vibe. I grew up around cowboys and rednecks and definitely fulfilled some teenage fantasies that week of filming. Just getting to do a southern character was such a fun experience. That accent is always simmering on the back burner in my brain and getting to drag it out is a highlight of mine.

JC – Haha this was a ton of fun. The guys are such good balls that we kept on improving and the accents really came on thick. The hardest part was not laughing whenever Nico was talking hahaha. I love a good cowboy hat.

ANDREW – It was pretty fun getting into a country character and getting to mess around with the horse as well which I had never really done before . I’m glad I didn’t have to do a country accent lol

CODY – Funnily enough, I’m named after Wild Bill Cody! So it felt like a fun way of delving into my namesake. Cowboy culture and aesthetic seems to be the zeitgeist right now and I loved leaning into it! Though as a cityboy, I really had to practice my acting skills for the role. I loved that challenge and finding a way to meld both city and country to create a character that was authentic to myself.

CARTER – The character is one of my favorites to play. The most difficult for me was the accent because they are not my cup of tea. But still hilarious to try, on the other side the best part would be working on such a great set. All of the small details really brought the shots together and looked incredible on both sides of the camera.

Any fun moments or stories from the shoot?

CODY –  The most fun was shooting the group pool scene with all of the other models. We took turns jumping into the pool and goofing around. Also, it felt like we really sang for our supper as we sat around eating barbecue. Another fun moment after the day wrapped was sitting around a fire pit and just chatting about everything and nothing with both the cast and crew.

CARTER – Jeremy is always a treat to work with. Keeps the vibes on point and really knows how to make everyone feel comfortable to make for a smooth shoot.

NICO – There was a line in the script about an ex of mine named Jenny. She ended up cheating on me with JC, who swore he had no idea we were an item. We had such a hard time not cracking up during that scene and the legend of Jenny the skank ended up being a running gag for the rest of filming.

JC – Not to expose my massive crush on Nico but he was hilarious

ANDREW – While the cameras weren’t rolling there was still a lot of games like foosball or Cornhole so we all definitely messed around trying to score and had a good time

What was it like to work with this Director and Crew?

NICO – I love working with Jeremy. He’s got such a good eye for things, and just deadly efficient without creating a stressful environment. Our wraps were always so quick and easy, which was fortunate because Jeremy, like myself, is a huge nerd and we need ample time to geek out when we work together.

JC – Jeremy was great to work with. The whole crew is always the best family feel. It was great to be able to connect with Jeremy about the story behind this film. The intention behind writing something that is lifting up our community, is beautifully shot, and just fucking hot is great.

ANDREW – I’ve had Jeremy on set before and it always makes it a special shoot as he makes the whole vision come together, the crew is always top notch and it’s a lot of fun.

CODY – Leo is my favorite production assistant ever! We share a lot of interests and it feels like we can just be geeks together. Also, shout out to Melissa [Casting Director] for always checking in and keeping me informed of what needs to be done leading to the shoot; she does an incredible job setting models up for success and she deserves all of the credit! As for Jeremy, we had met at the Gayvns and immediately hit it off. I’ve been chatting with him online prior to our initial meet and he is such a kind and brilliant person. His skills as a director were refreshing and impressive. He’s so dialed in with what needs to be done to make a scene look good. I also appreciate how flexible he is if a scene is feeling off and accommodating how the models are feeling. Really excited for what’s to come with Jeremy!

What was the biggest challenge for you working on this film?

NICO – It was hotter than the hinges of hell out there for a good piece of filming. Getting railed in a 100 degree barn is hot in more than the figurative sense.

JC – The biggest challenge for me on this film was dealing with the fact that I never got to fuck Carter. I need a round with him asap.

CODY – My biggest challenge was remembering lines! I felt bad holding up some of the scenes by forgetting the order of words but by the end of production I figured out ways of working around that.

CARTER – Other than somewhat long hours, which is to be expected when working on a masterpiece, there wasn’t an issue that comes to mind. It was a pretty flawless film to shoot.

What was your favorite part of working on this film?

JC – I think I discovered my inner Cowboy.  Also, I just want to note that I definitely have a better backflip than Carter.

CARTER – Some great behind the scenes was having a horse on set and being able to be face to face with such a beautiful creature. We all had some great photo shoots with the horse and brought a specific feel to the set. It’s safe to say we left that shoot certified cowboys.

NICO – The whole process was just really thoughtfully done. There was some real talent on this project, and the environment we were working in was really conducive to a stellar film;  I think that was very much achieved. Definitely felt the love put into this piece from production, talent, writing, and directing.

CODY – That’s a hard question to answer only because I loved all of the aspects of the shoot! The sense of camaraderie and teamwork being the most exciting for me. As I’ve said before, I loved working with a group that was so dialed in!

ANDREW – I’ve shot before at the ranch set and the location is super cool, especially with all the other talent and cast there.
