Next Door Films to Release 4-Part Feature “Breaking Frontiers”

ASGmax is bringing the heat this Summer with an epic 4-part movie from Next Door Films!  Written and Directed by Jeremy Babcock, “Breaking Frontiers” continues the story of Carter Woods’ cowboy from “That Summer.”  This time Carter has his eyes on his new ranch hand, Cody Seiya.  With a little encouragement from Carter’s horse caretaker Andrew Miller, our hero lets his guard down and embraces Cody’s advances.  There’s love in the country air, but what happens when Carter’s high school buddies come to visit?  A cowboy doesn’t kiss and tell…

“This project has been a goal of mine ever since we released ‘That Summer,’” explains Jeremy Babcock.  “People really responded to our first cowboy love story, and I’d been waiting for the right opportunity to continue the story.  Doing this as our big Feature of the Summer gave us the perfect opportunity to do it right.  We got to bring in some new characters and really dig deep into creating this sexy country world.”   

“This character is one of my favorites to play,” ASG Exclusive model Carter Woods remarked. “The most difficult part for me was the accent because they are not my cup of tea. But still hilarious to try.  

I had the pleasure of shooting with Cody Seiya, and he definitely lived up to the hype,” Carter continued.  “He is a great person and scene partner, and I look forward to working together again soon.” 

Cody shared similar praise for Carter.  “My scene with Carter Woods felt so intimate. His acting ability and kindness as a sex partner really made me comfortable.” Seiya also remarked, “Funnily enough, I’m named after Wild Bill Cody! So it felt like a fun way of delving into my namesake. Cowboy culture and aesthetic seem to be in the zeitgeist at the moment, and I loved leaning into it! Though as a city boy, I had to practice my acting skills for the role. I loved that challenge of finding a way to meld both city and country to create a character that was authentic to myself.”

“This project is unique in its authentic portrayal of gay life on a ranch, offering a fresh perspective rarely seen in mainstream media,” commented Director of Photography Conrad Parker. “I aimed to capture the natural beauty of the farm setting while highlighting the nuanced, intimate moments of the characters’ lives. The combination of the rural backdrop and the heartfelt narrative sets this project apart.”
