Behind The Brand: ASG Auditions

ASG Auditions was one of the very first original brands launched with ASGmax in August 2023. Now, ten scenes later, it’s clear that this brand has been an incredible platform for showcasing hot, up-and-coming talent, introducing several ASGmax members’ favorite new models!

To celebrate the recent launch of the ASG Auditions channel on ASGmax, we wanted to take a deeper dive into the brand. Let’s discuss its goals and reflect on some standout moments from the past year.

I’m Jeremy Babcock, Chief Creative Officer for ASGmax, and I’ll be your humble narrator on this journey through the creation and success of the ASG Auditions brand. Let’s get started!

Brand Goals

The concept for ASG Auditions is simple: we bring three new-to-ASG models together to show off their talents. Then, it’s up to our members to let us know what they think! Member feedback plays a major role in determining who earns a return trip to the studio for future content.

The primary goal is to give people a chance to truly get to know these new performers. This means allowing them to be themselves and showcase their skills in a way that feels natural. No acting, no storylines—just a casual environment where they can display their favorite sexy talents.

To further connect with the models, every ASG Auditions scene includes an interview segment. This simple but effective feature allows each model to connect with you on a personal level, showing they’re more than just a pretty face. These interviews provide a real, raw look at the guys before they dive into story-driven content on our other brands. It’s a unique way to help them form a bond with our audience, sharing what excites them and offering insight into their dreams and fantasies.

Another goal for the series is to focus on trios—three models per scene. While this dynamic can occasionally result in an “odd man out,” it generally gives each performer the opportunity to shine without feeling too much pressure. For first-timers dealing with nerves, the focus can shift to the other two performers, creating a supportive environment. Plus, a three-way shoot improves the odds of completing production, as first-time models are notorious for last-minute cancellations. Fun fact: one of our duo scenes originally involved as many as five cast members during the planning stages!

ASG Auditions Casting

When casting for ASG Auditions, our aim is to assemble trios of performers who each bring something unique to the table—something we think our members will love. Sometimes it’s about featuring models we’re excited about, while other times, it’s about exploring potential and seeing how our members respond.

We love mixing and matching different body types, personalities, and looks. Often, we’ll group a twink, a jock, and a hunky model together, aiming for a versatile team that allows everyone to explore their strengths. This diversity keeps each scene fresh and exciting, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see overwhelming responses to models we were initially unsure about.

The heart of ASG Auditions lies in letting members cheer on their favorites, helping us decide who to bring back for more. It’s especially gratifying when we can introduce models who don’t fit the typical ASG mold, offering variety and surprises to our loyal audience.

Auditions Graduates

Our hope for every model is that they inspire members to root for them and demand their return. We call these performers “Auditions Graduates” when they’ve earned another chance to come back and create additional content.

Despite being a young brand, ASG Auditions has already given us several fan-favorite performers. Models like Kam Stone, Matty West, Joseph Hart, Max Mabry, Johnny Donovan, and Jake Klerin have made huge impressions, leading to quick returns for more content. In fact, over half of the Auditions models have either returned for additional work or have plans to do so in the near future!

Bringing fresh talent to our members is one of the most rewarding aspects of running a network like ASGmax, and we’re excited to continue. Watching new faces grow, evolve, and connect with our audience never gets old!
