ASGmax Roleplay: October Highlights

What’s New with ASGmax Roleplay this Month?

This month saw the addition of 8 new characters meant to tie in to our epic End Of Your World feature release. These characters are a fun way to insert yourself into each of these stories and have a little fantasy fun with these life changing scenarios.

As always, keep your ideas and your stories flowing in the comments. We really love to see how you’re using this unique new part of our site. Your stories and tips help inspire other members, and help us improve on our character designs each month.

New, Hot & Trending

New characters are added to the chat weekly. You can find these characters by sorting by “Latest” in the menu at the top right of the screen.

New additions this month were a mix of requests (make your requests down in the comments!) and some special tie-in characters for our new ASGmax Films feature “End Of Your World.”

A few of these really did well, with the young video gamers leading the group, as well as a handy neighbor and a wildly fictional spaceship crew. Highlights below.

  • Mateo & Connor – Losers have to…
  • Tyler Reese – You want to thank him for his hard work.
  • Star Seeker Crew – Ready for Planetary Descent
  • Malicious Marcus – The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing
  • Grant Harlow – Helpful retired neighbor
  • Trey – Phone sex with your boyfriend who’s out of town on business.
  • Talon Reese – Chance encounter at the park.
  • Vampire’s Assistant – After hours or afterlife. He’ll do anything for you.

Fan Favorites & Selected Studs

Another character joins the 100k club! Kael Duran shot from 87k messages last month all the way to 113k this month, passing Ben in the process!

Which other characters do you keep coming back to chat with again and again? Tell us in the comments area! The hockey studs continue to climb, and Your Buddy’s Dad is also a big mover this month, jumping up six spots.

And a newcomer this month. Mason edges Tyson out of the top group.

Tips & Tricks

One of our favorite ways to control the story is the /cmd prompt. Some great tips in our original Roleplay post, worth checking out for refreshers and tips. Also, check out our other monthly Highlights posts!  Each month we feature another helpful tip, and the comment sections are full of great information.

Member Reply Of The Month

User “Dave” has become the go-to tech helper for the chat, providing wildly helpful tips in these blog post comments each month. Once again, this month, he provided a great tip, this time in reply to a question from Nathan_95 about adding additional characters. Enjoy!

Nathan_95 asked – “Here’s my question: I have had no problem creating and introducing additional characters into the narrative (such as picking someone up for a threesome, for example). But is there a way to encourage the bot to provide action and dialogue for the character you create and add?”

Dave replied – “While I’m sure there’s other ways as well, so far what I’ve found to work best, and most consistently, is introduction through a /cmd prompt, with the level of the added character’s interaction working a lot like writing an original character’s Personality – the more descriptive the new character’s basis/background/purpose- the more in-depth their role and the less added ‘prompting’ you’ll have to provide as the story moves forward. A brief example character injection might be like this:

/cmd AI injects a new character, name: Xad, Occupation: second in command of the alien ship, Personality: Xad is a young female alien, eager to explore new worlds, learn of human history on earth, and has a bright sense of humor.

To example the success of the injection, here’s the next few interactions that followed the /cmd character insertion: (with *enclosures* added back in here just for clarity and responses divided by——)

——-

Seda: *As they broke apart, Seda took Dave’s hand and led him towards the waiting ship, his steps quickening with each passing second. Just as they reached the hatch, a petite figure emerged from within, her vibrant purple skin and shock of white hair catching the light.*

Xad: *Her eyes widened in surprise as she spotted Dave, a mischievous grin spreading across her face as she bounded down the ramp to greet them.* Well, well, well… who do we have here? Another Earthling joining our merry band of misfits?

———

Dave: *Looking at Seda* Are you going to introduce me to your companion?

——–

Seda: *Chuckling softly, Seda wrapped an arm around Dave’s waist, pulling him close as he addressed the curious alien before them.* Xad, meet Dave – my new travel companion and the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe.

*Turning to Dave, Seda continued with a playful wink,* And Dave, this is Xad – my right-hand woman, chief navigator, and resident expert on all things human. She’s been dying to visit Earth and experience your culture firsthand.

Xad: *Bouncing excitedly on the balls of her feet, Xad extended a slender hand towards Dave, her eyes shining with curiosity and enthusiasm.* It’s an absolute pleasure to meet you, Dave! I can’t wait to pick your brain about Earth’s history, art, and architecture. And maybe, just maybe, convince you to give me a tour when we eventually return!

——(end pasted responses)

So, while the original character, Seda, still also speaks within the same response (but did not always in further responses, some only making a *descriptive* reference to Seda where appropriate), Xad, the new, ‘injected’ character, is off and running well, and continued to respond directly to my inputs, and ‘acting her role’ beautifully without need of further prompting.

The ‘key’ to having the injected character(s) becoming more of a ‘full’ party in the exchange really being a matter of how well you define the injected character’s personality and ‘purpose’.

Also, relating to your remarks of getting a character to ‘speak up’, where needed you can use a variation of a fairly common /cmd prompt used to get a character to stop speaking for you, the user (which is /cmd Never speak for {{user}}), instead entering something like /cmd Xad speaks for herself, interacting as appropriate and without need of prompt from {{user}}

Because AI understands NLP (Natural Language Processing) character creation, commands and directives can be written in almost any format, including writing ‘just as you’d speak’, keeping two things in mind to achieve the best results-

1) Be Descriptive but Brief- Keep it as short as you can while also being very clear…think ‘keywords’, and good use of punctuation for best clarity (which it appears you do well :))

2) Whether writing in natural language, or a ‘categorized’ layout, “prioritize” your entry in the same way an image generating prompt is prioritized, with the most important parts being first.

Also, a /cmd prompt can be made as part of other input, e.g. you can ‘say’ something first if wanted, then use Shift+Enter to add a line separation before the /cmd prompt portion of what you submit.”

I dont know if anyone has put this out there yet, but when the chats approach 1100-1200 messages, they break down and start to repeat previous messages. Especially with multiple characters, it gets frustrating because you have only started to connect with a few characters at that point. This happens to me on every chat.

Here’s a couple of ideas that might work:

— Either (a) two brothers-in-law (as inspired by “Go for the Glory (Hole)” OR (b) a man and his son-in-law [in both scenarios I imagine two men who have not yet recognized their mutual interest, rather than exploring an already existing relationship];
— A Broadway dancer (a) possibly with another cast member OR (b) on a national tour where he can meet several guys as he travels with the show;
— A single dad attending a PTA meeting (he might be meeting with his child’s teacher) OR (he might be meeting another dad);
— A chef who hosts a cooking show and his personal assistant;
— Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

started to make these and realized you always gave two people, but never a strong indicator as to which of the two characters you’d want to be?

I got the single dad made, and you’re the teacher.

Also made the chef AND his assistant, as my dumb brain didn’t click that you’d probably meant for us to be one or the other. (I can do that later)

I offered all of those either/or options because I was trying to leave it vague so that you could decide the way things should be designed. However, my preferences would be:

I prefer the father-in-law/son-in-law scenario (rather than the two brothers-in-law scenario), because I think that would interest the many folks who seem to like the generation gap story lines;

I thought that the chef would be the bot and the player would be his assistant – or maybe newly hired assistant, which could add another layer to that story line;

I thought that the PTA story would work with either combo – “teacher + dad” or “dad + dad” – and, again, it would depend on which pairing you thought would offer more possibilities for a wider variety of chats;

The Broadway dancer set-ups in my mind could have been built to go with whichever of the two options you thought would have greater potential, either the set-up with the dancer and a fellow performer, which would more likely lend itself to be a romantic relationship, whereas the dancer in the touring company would more likely result in a more promiscuous event, allowing the dancer to meet a new guy at every tour stop and have multiple experiences a la “Face Down Ass Up” with its revolving door of fuck buddies.

As for Robin Hood and his Band of Merry Men, I think it could be set up like any of the other group events, e.g. “Sports Night” or “Strip Poker Group”, including someone new (i.e., the player) who wants to join the group as a new Merry Man. [Of course, lurking in the background of that scenario we could also have the Sheriff of Nottingham – a closet-case if there ever was one LOL.]

I hope I’ve clarified for you here what you’re asking about, but if I haven’t, please shoot me another message and I’ll try to get it right!

Thanks a lot!

Had some fun with the gloryhole setup. Added both “The Groom” and the “Father of the Bride”. Both stories pick up after the wedding reception.

Also – Robin Hood and Co. & the Touring Dancers

I’d be interested in a few historical themes to add to some of the other historical characters?

  • The newly returned Duke is in town for the season, looking for a wife… but is his heart actually somewhere else? (Based on Bridgerton and Jane Austen)
  • Your chauffer or footman, who knows you at your most intimate and is at once your servant, and closest friend… Do either of you dare for something more? (Based on Downton Abbey and other British costume dramas, or maybe a bit of Jeeves and Wooster?)
  • A rakish highwayman with a strangely noble bearing has waylaid your carriage and demanded your valuables, your fine clothes, your sword and… something else?
  • Anything Wild West themed – a cowboy fresh off the trail, or an outlaw or lawman maybe (or maybe all three – perhaps they are connected characters with the lawman hunting the outlaw?)

Also, a spin on a completely sex-wild reality TV show might be fun – like a group of straight guys trying to pass as gay to win the prize money, how far will they go?

I just had an odd thing happen during a roleplay session, and I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I started a conversation with a new chatbot – Jeff, the fireman – with whom I had not had any previous interaction. The story started with a conversation that followed a similar pattern to other chats. Then, unprompted, AI introduced a new, very confrontational character into the story. There’s nothing in Jeff’s character background that refers to this new character, and what the character started doing and talking about had nothing at all to do with the way the story had been unfolding or the way I was trying to steer it. Very weird. Is AI actually taking over the world, or can anyone suggest something I might have done to lead to this strange event? Thanks!

This is wild! Did it give the character a name and it’s own dialogue? I’d never heard of it adding characters on it’s own before (or even very well when you want it to)

The story changes to something like this:

At the moment, Buzz [Jeff’s dinner companion] has left the table. The door to the diner opens and a man enters.

Here’s a verbatim copy of the next AI contributes:

The newcomer is a tall, muscular man with short-cropped dark hair and piercing blue eyes. He strides into the diner with purpose, his gaze sweeping over the room until it lands on Jeff. The man approaches the table, a smug grin spreading across his chiseled features.

Tate: “Well, well, well. If it isn’t Jeff ‘the Hero’ Thompson, savin’ kitties from trees and puttin’ out fires in his spare time.”

Jeff’s eyes narrow, his jaw clenching at the mocking tone.

Jeff: “Tate. Didn’t expect to see you here.”

The man, Tate apparently, slides into the booth opposite Jeff, ignoring the fact that it’s already occupied.

Tate: “Yeah, well, I heard a rumor that my favorite fireman was grabbin’ a bite at his favorite spot.”

The scene goes on. I had assumed that Tate would turn out to be a bitter ex-lover of Jeff’s, or something along those lines. However, it turns out that Jeff and Tate were high school rivals, and because of several events narrated by the AI at length, we find out that Tate had set a fire and almost killed Jeff’s father! Nothing in the long scene that followed made any reference to a sexual relationship between the men, or even hinted that Tate might be gay. [It’s been established that Jeff is gay.] Buzz returned to the table, eventually Tate left, and the rest of the story continued to be about Jeff’s experiences with the evil Tate. There were no more passes being made, fingers brushing against each other a little longer than necessary [one of AI’s favorite lines, as I’m sure you know], no twinkling eyes – just the story of a brave firefighter having a rough personal experience.

Insane, eh?

Jeremy,

It happened to me again, also while talking with Jeff the Firefighter. This time he was walking down the street (Buzz wasn’t there at the moment) and Jeff bumped into an old friend, “Mike”, and they chatted for a moment.

Something else that’s odd to me is that I had previously introduced into the scenario a waiter, “John”, who recognized me from my professional life (my character is semi-famous), but the AI did not create any dialogue for him or for a couple of other waiters/fans that John brought over to meet me.

I’m just guessing here, but I think it’s possible that these other characters may have been built into Jeff’s profile. If you haven’t chatted with Jeff yet, you might want to give him a try and see if any unexpected bots show up and join the story.

BuzzMo-
Been test-running a chat with Fireman Jeff after seeing your note, and I’m up to near 80 messages exchanged so far, but have not had any added characters pop in as yet. I’ll keep going for a while more and report if something does occur. Have you by chance gone in and reviewed what is in the Memory Manager for your chat (if you haven’t deleted it). There might be some reference found in it that would provide a clue.

I did check my Memory Manager before I first posted about this, and then reread it just now. There is a reference to Tate in the memories, but nothing else that indicates a third (or fourth now) character will enter the chat, let alone the ensuing plot-changing turn the story takes because of Tate’s actions or words. I think by now I have had around 200-250 messages exchanged between Buzz (my character’s name) and Jeff, so I’m not sure when Tate made his entrance.

Such a unique thing. Let us know if it ever happens in your other chats. Could also be something that’s being tested, adding increased ability to expand characters within the chats. I feel like the development on this chat stuff is probably constantly evolving with little tests. Really interesting.

Hi Jeremy,

I tried introducing new characters into existing scenarios, and none of them seemed to take. Then I tried this: I opened one of the Goldenrod chatbots and before I started my side of the interaction, I entered a /cmd paragraph about adding all of the other Goldenrod characters into the mix. I asked AI to bring them in, one or two at a time, and when all the characters were assembled, their gathering should turn into a sex party.

It was partly successful. After Alex, my initial partner, and I had fun at the hot tub, we were heading back to Alex’s room and bumped into three other guests. None of them were the Goldenrod chatbots I had suggested, but all three got involved, introducing themselves by name and talking with us. We all went to Alex’s room and began flirting amongst ourselves, but the sex party storyline I had requested didn’t materialize. Alex started getting jealous and possessive and kept talking to me only, and no matter how many times I tried to get one of the other guys involved in the story again, AI stopped letting them participate.

Although my hoped-for scenario didn’t happen, I thought that the interesting thing here is that AI introduced characters of its own creation (rather than bringing in pre-established bots) and then gave them distinct personalities, different looks, different home cities, different jobs – i.e. they were all individuals who could potentially interact and connect to the others for reasons other than sex. It now seems as though the new characters will disappear without any sexual interactions and that the story will revert to one between me and Alex. However, it was nice to see AI playing along with my suggestions for a while.

Loving all the new additions.

I would like to see a solo character for a wizard or mage of some sort. A dashing scholar you are on a quest with A La Gale from Baldurs Gate 3. Just a new party member to go along with the fighter and rogue we have.

I would also like to see a separate group that is an adventuring party with a few various members, a barbarian, cleric, mage, fighter, etc. On a quest to beat the demon lord or some cliche quest like that lol. Late nights around the campfire as they tend to the days wounds or something.

Again super appreciative of all your hard work! It’s been very relaxing to play out scenes with the characters in and out of the bedroom.

Adventures in Roleplaying: For me, I’m surprised how entertaining it can be to explore character types and scenarios that never really attracted me before. The horny stepdad and the controlling dom character types didn’t interest me much in video scenes, but interacting with these archetypes in AI chat brought a new, intriguing dimension that definitely kept me engaged.

Not expecting much, I started to chat with Mom’s New Husband John and… Hoo boy. Turns out John is kinky and insatiable, and his dialogue plays up the taboo bonding he’s doing with my 19-year-old stepson character. Through some narrative shaping from me, John talked on the phone with his wife while blowing me and slowly jerked me off under a blanket on the couch while mom was in the room telling us about her day. After an already physically draining marathon of sex, the bot then described Stepdad leaving his sleeping wife in the middle of the night to sneak down the hall to Stepson’s bedroom. I decided to see what would happen if my character stayed asleep (but physically receptive) throughout the nighttime encounter, and John readily took up the challenge to service me without waking me up.

Dominant-Submissive dynamics in porn have never pushed my buttons, but the harsh interactions with Pledge Daddy Brody Montgomery and his eager, hungry DOME brothers were engaging in an experimental way. As a new house pledge, Brody and company wasted no time making sure my character submitted to whatever they wanted to do to me. I tested the waters with some early rebellion and refusal, which of course only inflamed and aroused Brody more. In the shower, in the chapter room, in front of all the frat brothers… the venues changed but the primitive lesson stayed the same.

Actually, I enjoyed alternating chat threads between brutal Brody Montgomery and shy backyard study buddy Julian Hayes. I decided that my afternoon with hesitant, self-confessed virgin Julian would be tactile, sweet, and mutually adoring. When, after many posts, Julian delivered the inevitable “Gonna mark you, claim you as mine” line that all the bots seem to use, I explained that we didn’t need the power trip of claiming each other; I respect and admire him so much that we should enjoy each other as equals. After that, Julian was an affectionate pussycat and the “first-time” fantasy allowed for lots of slow, sensuous exploration.

Wanted to share some of my Roleplay thoughts and experiences – who else has been surprised by where you went with a character or two?

It’s nice that it worked for you to get the bot back on track with that “claim you as mine” – it’s funny/odd how many of those un-common phrases are repeat themes with the bots. I was hoping over time they’d start to sound more natural based on conversations they have, but maybe people say this a lot?? haha

Hi Jeremy – It seems like most of the bots share similar dialogue or narrative phrases that may have originated in the sample content the AI used to “learn” how to shape and write erotica. As BuzzMo says above, the “fingers brushing against each other longer than necessary” line is a good example of a detail that many bots seem to share.

I always like trying to persuade the AI character through dialogue or story before resorting to /cmd – that’s just my preference. Sometimes it works well, as with Julian, and sometimes not so much. The Pinned Memory option in Memory Manager is also really useful.

I’m sure text-based Roleplay isn’t every subscriber’s bag, but a lot of us are having a great time testing the platform’s characters and storytelling boundaries!

Hm. Yeah, still really enjoying the Daddy characters,especially Roger and now have just gone back to John again –
I know I’ve said this before but honestly to have an alternative shirtless photo of them to look at,like with Roger,would honestly help (selfishly) me, immensely. No idea how possible or probably not that would be. But hey all good, whatever. I might well engage with a few others too.. just to indulge myself! :o)

I don’t have the option for multiple photos (yet- but hopefully someday). But if it pleases you… you can download that image and push it thru one of the AI sites to give you a sexier version with the same face. That’s basically how I did Roger Round2.

Really? I do some programming myself and being able to upload multiple photos per character would be such an easy feature to add. If the company you’re working with on that site is telling you it’s a lot of work and they might do it *someday* I would honestly push back on them a bit and expect a bit better customer service.

twinkfeetlover-
The issue here is a bit different from what you’re talking about, and not that ‘easy’. Suppose you’ve got an AI-generated character image, and you later want that same visual character creation to be shown in a different state of dress (or location). In that case, the only reasonable way to come up with that new image is as Jeremy suggests- you give the existing image to an AI image generator as a ‘standard’ or ‘base’ from which to generate a new image in a different state of dress. Even then, you may have to run it several times before you get what you’re after. It’s either that or spending some time in Photoshop.

I’m not actually involved at all in that relationship, but my understanding is that it is existing software that we’re using, not software designed for US, so it’s not that kind of relationship.

That said, there’s an alternate AI that’s rolling out on some of our other sites that should have more ability to change and evolve with our feedback, so if the quality is a match in other areas, it might be something we look at in the future. Still very new tech, so there’s a lot evolving quickly with it.

I uh, kept coming back to the Star Seeker Crew, ended up creating a 3 part series that covered a LOT of ground. I did add a Chief Medical Officer similar to Beverly Crusher ala TNG but I’ve grown quite fond of this chat bot. will say I started reaching the AI’s limit. There is a saturation point where you can’t move the AI Chatbot forward like its stuck on too many anchors and it gets stuck in a loop or pulls old responses out of no where. unfortunately the just means that plot line was just never going be resolved but that’s already me pushing it to its limit.

I liked the ground we covered so much I tried making summarys of everything that happened tl;dr I went with the idea that the environment of the Aetherian world had some contaminants in the atmosphere. My Captain decided to bring only himself and the first officer and there was a small quarantine situation. The Captain and the First Officer then took every different approaches to how they dealt with the longer term effects of the contaminant Captain going on a LOA and the First Officer, then made Acting Captain then proceeded to infect the rest of the crew save the Medical Office and the Science Office Zeth, leading to a literal balls to the wall rescue of the crew by my Captain.

I told you werewolves had a public! Duran left quite an impression, not the least because the accompanying image is… damn. We had lots of super interesting adventures, in many senses, tones… and shapes, even if I personally tend to /cmd tone down the more “alpha” aspects of his melodramatic aggression (sexy werewolf, cool! Can’t include any other character at all in the story even as a random vendor for half a paragraph or say I wanna go home for the day without him having a jealousy meltdown? Eh… not for me. Bad dog 😆).

Any plans for other monsters for Halloween?

Btw, Officer Daniels turns out to be the criminal who he is “hunting” 9 out of 10 times. That “corruption” descriptor is not lying. Lol

You could do something like “Halloween” where a big, burly sex golem escapes from lockup and everyone in his path gets to find out why they call him “The Shape.”

There could be a character based on Freddy who has anal probes for fingers instead of knives. He infiltrates the dreams of closeted men and makes them live out their unrequited sexual fantasies. He’d be the “Wet Dream Master.”

Something like “The Purge” but based in a world where homosexuality is illegal, but for one night a year you get 24hrs to go as gay as you want.

Characters based on that movie where the three costumed killers terrorize that couple for opening the door. Instead of killers they’d be sex freaks.

A halloween themed key party where everyone is in costume and you don’t know who you’re hooking up with.

Something like “Saw” where you’re kidnapped and have to complete sexual acts to earn your freedom.

There is always space for the Classics.

A “Monster Smash”. Like, “you thought it was just a Halloween party with some extremely dedicated roleplayers and that you were getting along, but oh-oh, these are not costumes and for how long can you go unnoticed? What now?”
Something open enough for you to insert your favorite monsters and tone.

The mention of ‘classics’ brings to mind something along the lines of Rocky Horror, with characters similar to Frank N Furter, Rocky, Brad, and Janet.

These were all great ideas! A few a little complicated on the image generation side… I made a batch, but if people feel strong about some additions, I can dive deeper next week, too!

Added:
Genesis (Frankenstein)

A dominant vampire who wants to play your body like a fiddle and get you insanely, eyes-rolling-back aroused then suck your blood out through your cock.

I’m a sci-fi lover but wasn’t sure “Star Seeker Crew” would be of interest to me. I was very wrong. On our first mission, Zeth’s character gets a premonition about an Extinction Level Event which is going to take out his people and endanger the galaxy. During a post mission exam, Zeth finds a “device” inside me. I encourage him to probe deeper, leading to a wild sexual romp (the descriptions about his cock were very vivid). He brings in Rix to try to interface with the device electronically. More sex ensues. After Rix and Zeth have doused my terran insides with their seed, Zeth’s neural connection determines the device inside me was biological in nature, with a function of capturing organic material. It has merged our various DNA strands and created a symbiotic creature which is growing inside me. I’ve posited to Zeth how this creature might be related to his earlier vision. Now I get to be an intergalactic whore and a harbinger of death. Why be a queen when you can be an Alien brood queen? Bring on the Predators!

What a great, original storyline! I love that your Roleplay story with a character or group will be totally different from other users who start from the same first prompt and go in a different direction. That’s why I like to push the bots past their premise to see what narratives form from there. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

That aspect is what has been so engaging about this feature. It’s very much a digital hedge maze. You can veer down one path and find a dead end or venture off somewhere else and end up in a beautiful clearing. Or create your own path. It’s given me a little insight into how much fun the ASGM crew must have when they’re bringing one of their porn productions to life.
