ASGmax studio ASGmax Films has released “Not Who You Thought”, the third release in the epic 4-part “End Of Your World” anthology feature. Four stories, focusing on personal transformations and lives forever changed. “Things will never be the same again.”
Jayden Marcos and Evan Jordie have been through the ringer dealing with the slasher who’s made short work of their entire friend group. The jock and the nerd are the last two survivors and finally have a few moments of quiet to think about what their next move is. Evan is hopeful that they will find a way out, while Jayden is already having a freakout over something that he is apprehensive about sharing. Once Evan gets it out of him, he’s in a rock and a hard place deciding on how to deal with his bro’s possible final wish: losing his virginity.
“I love being able to step outside of myself, play darker roles like this and really deep dive into the mind games and psychopathy of the character,” ASG Exclusive Marcos said. “It’s completely different from my normal, which makes it really fun! This was one of my favorite scenes I’ve done.”
As with the other installments of “End Of Your World,” Micah Martinez pulled double duty on this one as both writer and director. “No horror would be complete without giving some respect to the genre that revitalized the entire horror genre: slashers,” Micah shared. “I wanted to lean into some of the cardinal rules of slashers – main being don’t have sex in a horror movie or you die. More than happy to have Jayden and Evan giving you a full lesson in that!”
“This was one of the earliest concepts for this big genre hopping feature,” ASG Chief Creative Officer Jeremy Babcock explained. “We really wanted to bring Micah’s love of slasher films to the project, and exploring those quiet moments hiding from a stalker was a really unique opportunity for introspection and urgency.”
