Disruptive Film’s to Release First Scene of Much-Anticipated Feature “Honeyguide”

Disruptive Film’s Saltburn-esque feature, “Honeyguide” will kick off on Friday, August 9th with its first scene, “Manipulation > Masturbation.” The scene introduces audiences to the complicated dynamics between Alaric Spence (Hoss Kado)  and Brooks Dunham (Kam Stone).

In “Manipulation > Masturbation,” Alaric knows that Brooks will do whatever it takes to make the grade. That’s why it isn’t a surprise to her when Brooks has a rendezvous with his professor Dr. Alan Whittake (Bruce Jones). But things aren’t as cut and dry as they seem, not when Alaric is at the helm.

The movie’s star, Kam Stone, reveals, “Shooting ‘Honeyguide’ was so much different for me than any other movie I’ve shot. The experience with the crew, really getting to know you, and helping you understand the role you’re there to fulfill brings us all closer together by the end of it. I learned so many new things and pointers being on set and filming this movie; it was amazing. By far the most amazing experience I’ve had on set.”

Stone’s scene partner, Bruce Jones, agrees, “When movies are given the type of production value like ‘Honeyguide,’ it is amazing to see a porn set turn into a real Hollywood production. Seeing all the people needed to make it a success is quite a spectacle. It was like watching bees all working together on a common goal. Everyone had their role and each doing their part to make some sweet, sweet honey.”

“Manipulation > Masturbation” sets the tone for the film that promises to be a twisted, erotic journey through sordid pasts and unstable futures. When conceptualizing “Honeyguide,” writer Taylor Saracen wanted to “really pump up the scenes that had everyone talking in Saltburn and make them even more shocking.”

I REALLY wish the intended plot were more clear. Yes, the sex in the first scene was terrific. But the intent of the story was, at best, murky, and at worst, drivel. Nice that the models in the sex scene had a great relationship with the technical staff. Too bad the folks watching were, and are, so confused as to just by-pass the plot for the sex in the coming portions of this feature. Too bad. PLEASE tell me what this is all about. “Saltburn-esque” does not explain anything. Further, ELOCUTION! Learn to speak clearly while acting. Pronounce every consonant. Know your lines. If you improvise and the editor leaves the dialogue in, be sure you enunciate clearly.

I just joined the AGS family of websites about 10 minutes ago while still eating my already cold dinner, so I haven’t watched this series premiere episode yet. But from reading the blog and your comment, I get what you’re saying, and when I DO watch the scene, I’m certain that I’ll see that your points are valid

As for the “Saltburn-esque” claim, if you haven’t seen the film from last year or so (“Saltburn”) then of course you wouldn’t have gotten the reference. But I would suggest that you don’t waste your time on that Hollyweird film, either. All it is is a creepier and more violent rip off of ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley.” Not a terrible film, but nothing original from Hollyweird, as usual, and not worth your time. Your time would be better spent watching something here.
